MY FIRST 40 YEARS OF ART
L’ISTINTO DI UN ARTISTA NELLE OPERE DI
SOMMARI’. I MIEI PRIMI 40 ANNI DI ARTE.
L’ istinto di un artista, messo a
nudo spontaneamente nelle opere. I percorsi dell’anima raccontati e fissati in
Paolo Sommaripa
in arte Sommarì, quaranta anni dedicati all’arte, dove la sua ricerca pittorica
spazia ed emerge, senza dubbio alcuno, nell’infinito scenario dell’arte
contemporanea italiana. Poliedrico, istintivo, immerso, passa dalla metafisica
all’astrazione in maniera del tutto naturale.
incorniciati dai suoi compaesani.
collezioni private in Italia e all’estero.
creativa.

The INSTINCT OF AN ARTIST IN THE WORKS OF SOMMARI’
L 'instinct of an artist, stripped spontaneously in the works. The paths of the soul told and fixed in a permanent and full of pathos, suffering and emotion. Paolo Sommaripa in art Sommarì forty years dedicated to art, where his painting ranges and emerges, without any doubt, in the infinite landscape of contemporary Italian. Multifaceted, instinctive, immersed, passes from metaphysical abstraction in a totally natural. His "scribbles" of Elementary in Mazzano Romano, his country of origin, still guarded and well framed by his fellow villagers. "I started painting since the times of averages, then the Art School of Ripetta in Roma in 1974, where I attended the lessons of great artists like Bianchini art in Guelfo, who was a great friend of Giorgio De Chirico, Simona Weller, Mario Cimara, Rossana Lancia. I did the Academy of Fine Arts for my choice, I did not waste academic. I stole with my eyes, I have visited many exhibitions of great artists, galleries of Roma, the National Gallery of Modern Art. I will never forget the huge cracks of Burri, who in a sense have left a mark in my imagination. "With security, we can say that the school of these artists has brought good results, paving the way to a creative flair of remarkable that, even today, seems inexhaustible. We can not number the works produced over time, many sell and do not cataloged, some in private collections in Italy and abroad. The creative vein of Sommarì, is unleashed always, in scenarios metaphysical and abstract, not always fused together, but constantly messengers of emotions. He himself says that his act of painting is essentially driven by the emotions of life, walking the maze of memory, but visually hoping the great power of rebirth, because the rebirth of each one is due to the progressive emotional states that life itself offers us. The feelings that you have to observe the works of this artist, are manifold, it follows an ancient past and with a contemporary painting and present, an intertwining fast that links the past to the newspaper. Forms, signs fast, brushstrokes, color, where often predominate even dark shades, but a unique charm. - Walking through the maze of memory, now paved for new current needs, Sommaripa affects the mark, given the subject looking surprised in its metaphysical dimension ... Among acme of dreams of new life, the mysterious past, he pushes the memory, nourishes the nostalgia fixing our thoughts evading existence, to find the wind of revival that shakes us to change the path, worn often, of a life of new desires realized, but able to influence our behavior - writes the critic 'art Fattino Tedeschi. Adds Lanzalone Bruno, philosopher and artist - Colors that Sommaripa often uses: ocher, tan, black, brown, are expressions of an autumn nature, of a world perhaps to its setting, but still full of energy and force. Sommaripa is expressed in a painting essential and dry, where the evident influence of De Chirico is filtered in a personal dimension as highly creative. Emerge on the other metaphysical paintings, entered into a 'peaceful atmosphere in which the protagonists appear almost sculpted in positions timeless. The figures appear Sommaripa essential, expressed in a few traits that seem to dig deep into the essence of the matter. No concessions to ornament, but, in a thoughtful and intense expression, appear themes that seem to melt the metaphysical and the sense of mystery that we find in De Chirico, with the dryness of the works of Michelangelo almost energetic and decided to Mario Sironi. It 'a Sironi perhaps more thoughtful, culmination of troubled productions, but always alive and deeply meaningful. The figure is essential in the art of Sommaripa, which, linked to the world and to history, it seems periodically shy away from abstractions and deeply binds to the figurative. But his is a figure without frills, all expressed in the sign, in a few strokes, which in expressionism not historically identified, expresses reality lives and yet captured in a timeless eternity, dig in the thoughts of this eclectic artist making just "an artist of our times. "The exhibition in the Civic Tower City Pomezia, entitled "beyond the dreams" in May 2014 under the patronage of the town, has sported his recent productions where the informal infiltrates powerfully in his metaphysical world. In fact, recently the artist relies completely on a free gesture, where the predominant one quick stroke and instinctive, beyond any apparent logic, but as we said, a creative painting, constantly messenger of emotions. To date, forty years of art, acclaim and accolades from around the world, an artist who wanted to carry on with clarity his message of love for art, as a means of visual communication and universal language. A pride for Italian art.
