Pomezia (Roma). The Art Atelier hosts the personal exhibition "the sign" of Sommarì
Expressed through a personal language, which evolved from the drawing, in view of the central themes of his artistic research. With all its potential charm and involvement, will showcase the wonderful world of the artist who seduces and enchants with drawings and mixed techniques, with the passage of time, the balance in his metaphysical environment, transforms the visual ambiguity. The "sign" which is the title of his staff, he traces on paper or canvas, want to come in and shake the collective imagination. The interest of students and fans and the success to date, but also his great passion, is what prompted the artist to present his latest productions, along with highly original sketches where it displays its creative duality: the metaphysical and informal. The exhibition brings together Sommarì of important group of works, many of which have never been exhibited, so it begins a radical critical analysis of his previous work and the start of a new season full of experimentation. In fact he is now, exceeded the fifty-seven years old, that takes strength and ingenuity much of his artistic production, carrying out a continuous expressive renewal work, without ever betraying his style and especially its consistency. We can not forget its roots school, the Roman Artistry of Ripetta, where, despite already painted for some years, has borrowed heavily from the likes of Gaetano Bianchini caliber Ulysses Guelph friend of Giorgio De Chirico, Mario Cimara that was one of the masters of contemporary art founded in 1950, together with Scipione, Mafai, Raphael and Sironi the Roman school of painting, and his wife, the sculptress Nwarth Zarian. Pomezia. L’Atelier dell’Arte ospita la mostra personale “nel segno” di Sommarì
Espressi attraverso un
linguaggio personalissimo, evolutosi dal disegno, in visione i temi centrali
della sua ricerca artistica. Con tutto il suo potenziale di
fascino e di coinvolgimento, sarà in mostra il meraviglioso mondo dell’artista
che seduce e incanta con disegni e tecniche miste, che con il passare del
tempo, saldo nella sua ambientazione metafisica, trasforma l’ambiguità visiva. Nel
“segno” che è il titolo della sua personale, lui traccia sulla carta o sulla
tela, vuole entrare e scuotere l’immaginario collettivo. L’interesse di
studiosi ed appassionati e il successo finora riscosso, ma anche la sua grande
passione, è ciò che ha spinto l’artista a presentare le sue ultime produzioni,
insieme a originalissimi schizzi dove si denota la sua dualità creativa: quella
metafisica e quella informale. La mostra
di Sommarì riunisce un’importante nucleo di opere, molte delle quali mai
esposte, inizia così una radicale analisi critica del suo lavoro precedente e
l’avvio di una nuova stagione ricca di sperimentazione. Infatti è proprio
adesso, superati i cinquantasette anni, che prende forza e ingegno gran parte
della sua produzione artistica, portando avanti un lavoro di continuo
rinnovamento espressivo, senza però mai tradire il suo stile e soprattutto la
sua coerenza. Non
possiamo dimenticare le sue radici scolastiche, quelle romane dell’Artistico di
via di Ripetta, dove, nonostante già dipingeva da qualche anno, ha attinto
molto da artisti del calibro di Bianchini Ulisse Gaetano Guelfo amico di
Giorgio De Chirico, Mario Cimara che è stato uno dei maestri dell'arte contemporanea fondando, nel 1950,
assieme a Scipione, Mafai, Raphael e Sironi la scuola romana di pittura, e sua moglie la scultrice Nwarth
Zarian. Insomma, una straordinaria raccolta di
disegni che l’artista ha selezionato per mettere in visione di appassionati ed
estimatori. - L’Atelier dell’Arte è felice di ospitare la personale del maestro
Paolo Sommaripa, che si distingue per l’originalità delle sue scelte e per
l’intensità del suo messaggio artistico - spiega la pittrice Rossana Urbani
presidente dell’Atelier. In esposizione circa 50 lavori su carta e su tela. Dal
